"Lady's Slipper" reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world and its influence on our lives. My sister, Gay Grannary, inspired my love of poetry, and we have shared our love of writing for many years. Memories of childhood and several transformations over my life fill the pages of Lady's Slipper. I return to this theme many times in my writing on ecosystem sustainability and my role in conserving natural systems.
